Hummingbird Tapes tells the stories of Isolations.

 

Isolations are one-week trips for musicians to create a compilation of songs under the collective artist name, Hummingbird Tapes. We find making music this way momentarily disconnects the collaborators from the world, freeing their creativity and fueling their friendships: letting the music form itself organically. These songs and stories are a demonstration of how an environment and the people within it, their cultures and personalities, will influence the creation of music. To tell this story, musicians are inspired to document the experience and share it through their own eyes.
